Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after car hits pedestrians

Police said they believed the suspect was ‘involved in an altercation at a nightclub prior to getting in his car and mounting the pavement’.



A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after driving his car into pedestrians in Covent Garden on Christmas Day, injuring four people. One pedestrian is in critical condition. Police apprehended the suspect quickly with assistance from the City of London Police.
